SOUNDS FOR THE STONES

Materials: solar panel, solar cells, radio receivers, amplifiers and loudspeakers.

An autonomous solar energy system provides the electricity for 4 amplifiers, these are individually connected to 4 radio receivers playing  “white noise”  that are themselves powered by small solar cells.

The radios are tuned to “white noise” channels, the electromagnetic waves traveling through the air of the Belziger Landschaftswiesen.

The result is an “erratic” musical composition: the changing sunlight, weather, time and visitors automatically effect both the radios and amplifiers and continually alter the four-channel composition.
